Management: A Likely Synergistic Combination

Medication therapy management (MTM) by definition is a type of medical care provided by pharmacists whose primary goal is to optimize drug therapy and improve therapeutic outcomes for patients. Some clinicians have proposed the integration of pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing into MTM to permit further modification of treatments to reduce risk of adverse responses and improve efficacy.
